Kalme is the solo project of Sonja Deffner, who has already made a name for herself as a member of Jason & Theodor, Die Heiterkeit, PTTRNS or Christiane Rösinger's band. On her debut »Neue Sprache«, analog synthesizers, percussive textures, and clarinet provide the framework for Deffner's intimate and haunting feminist reflections on atomization and solidarity.
